This is a tough conundrum that not a lot of ppl are talking about. If Jared is active, but then goes down. We will be with one less pass rusher in the 4th quarter more than likely. That can be huge. Hope Rivera makes the right call.

Well if he wants to play on it, let him play.  But only if he is effective.

RR won't play Allen unless he's good to go. I have a hard time believing he'd risk an active roster spot in the NFCC just to appease Allen. 

At least I hope he wouldn't.

There's not really much more he can do to his foot to injure it more. It'll be feeling brand new throughout the entirety of the game. The next day won't be fun, but I'm not too worried about further injury during the game because he wouldn't feel it anyway. Then if we win, he toughs it out for the next two weeks, does the same thing for the Super Bowl and gets surgery if he needs it afterwards.
