Winter storm... advantage or disadvantage?

Advantage to the Panthers. Arizona is a warm weather team. I think the Panthers playing on their field in this weather works in their favor. Also, not worried about fan turnout. Tickets cost way too much for people to decide not to come, the game is big and everybody wants to witness it. It'll be major. Cold weather, home field, dedicated fans is like stars aligning. Panthers will win this game.

One team plays outdoor on grass

One team practices outdoor on grass

One team is old school in their pound and push you around approach

One team has played many games in wet and crappy field games and won them all this year

The other team is the Cardinals

Crowd noise will be fine. Anyone who doesn't find a way to get to this game probably doesn't make much noise anyway.

Just leave earlier and drive slow. Also keep in mind that you can't go as fast as big trucks safely in this stuff. They have 18 friction points to your 4. You will always see 25 cars in the ditch for every truck in this stuff. Stay off the brakes as much as possible and drive like there is a egg between your foot and the peddles. Just a little advice from a guy with a few million miles on the road.

If the field IS INDEED sloppy then we need our corners to be physical at the line and disrupt their timing. With a precision passing attack like Arizona's things can pile up against them quickly. We saw last year what happens to them when their qb is out. We may not be able to get Palmer off the field but we can essentially do it by letting the elements help us. The turf should slow down their routes, be physical with the receivers to further throw off timing while giving the rest of the defense time to read and react and you should be able to piss in their cornflakes. Add Luke and TD waiting on Fitz when he goes across the middle and you have the potential to totally stall their offense out. Its going to be allllll about discipline and physical football come Sunday. Surgical precision and dismantling from the kickoff until the final whistle.

Remember last January when their defense all slipped over trying to catch Fozzy on that TD? Yeah, that, i'd say it's an advantage, they can go on about the right cleats and such but we know what the field will be like, they wont experience it until Sunday

Thats exactly what Ive been saying. If they want to blitz let them. Screen passes all day will kill them. Carson isnt going to be able to throw the ball long this game. Not in cold windy conditions. They will run alot of short slants and  curl routes. If we can read some of these and have success with the run game. We win this easy.
