Allen says he respects Ron Rivera and respects his decision. Doesn't agree with it. Says he hopes he'll be active if CAR makes Super Bowl.

I don't agree with Rivera's decision also. Allen played better than CJ last game. If anything, Rivera should bench CJ. We're in the mother fuging NFC Championship Game. We may not see another Sunday. If you can walk, you play. Allen was even practicing.

Just because Allen COULD play doesn't mean he'd be effective.  That means as much to Rivera as anything.  If we don't think Allen will be effective enough, we shouldn't play him.

As for Allen, I like his wanting to play but it can't come at the expense of the team.  I don't think RR would sit him if he thought Allen could outplay Ealy at this point with a broken foot.  Have to remember it's a team game and you do what's right for the team, not the player.
