This. I just became a pops for the first time and my goodness, I can't even imagine working my shitty office job after that first night back from the hospital. Having to basically be an NFL demigod? fug that noise.

No. That contributed to it but the entire team came out flat on all cylinders. The o-line was terrible, Cam was unusually poor (especially given the situations at the end to win the game) and the defense could not get off the field on 3rd down all game. Fact of the matter was we overlooked them and our practice schedule was all f*cked up and those guys played the best game of their careers there. That was their Super Bowl and it was just another game to us that meant nothing late in a year where guys were getting worn down. Like Rivera said, he slept best after that game than any other this year. In my opinion every team needs a loss at some point. Sugar Ray Robinson, the greatest fighter ever had many losses and is still better than undefeated's like Mayweather and Rocky. Just because a team beat us doesn't mean they have a "blueprint." We just didn't play to our capabilities and those guys played above and beyond ours. I've seen on articles so far comments about how the Falcons beat us so that means Denver will win and all that yada yada. They're in for a real treat. I truly don't believe Cam will ever lose in a Super Bowl. He'll have his best games on the biggest stage. Love this team so much.

I read their game thread and it was hilarious.  A few of those guys were actually fully pulling for the Panthers to win the game and the rest wanted to cry over it.  That forum is pathetic right now and the only thing they have to cling to is the fact that they beat us.  They seem to forget that we completely humiliated them earlier in the season and while we played a terrible game against them, we nearly were able to come back and win at the very end.  If they want to hang their hats on that...by all means, have at it.  I'll take the NFC Championship and represent in the Super Bowl while they talk about their great moment in the season when they beat us on our worst day.  Good for them.

    • When we have everyone playing like they should, we can win the Cup. That has been the biggest problem when we get to the playoffs, but this year seems to be fixed mostly. We could have had multiple if we had done this in the past.
    • Here we go Bryce Stan’s you should love this. Hell it may be one of you.  It has every cliche excuse and then some.  Unintentionally hilarious my limit was reached when he said Bryce had it hard because four play callers.
    • Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.
