I like the fact that he referred to Thomas Davis as the "Bionic Man."

So, this is pretty cool!  Could 3D printing be the wave of the future for new safety equipment.

Took an additive manufacturing class a couple semester back and the technology is impressive. Easy to assume that 3D printing "is" the future for safety materials and many many other things.

This is what I did for a living along with CNC programming until I was forced into retirement because of health issues. Its amazing what can be done within this technology.

Overall, I have been extremely impressed with all the cool stuff that 3D printing can do.

Thats pretty sweet! As an ME, CNC's and the milling process is beautiful. Nothing like cutting through metals like butter.

 

Attached are some of the things we 3d printed. All these items are actual peoples arteries, bones, and organs. They were taken from an MRI file and converted to STL format for the printing process.

Not far past that. I code, but I hate the business field I work in. I would love to get in to fabricating bike parts. I have no idea if it can actually make money but it would be fun.

 

If I could go back and major in technology and not Computer Science I would. ASU had some things that in retrospect would have interested me if I just didn't happen to be 18 and clueless what I wanted to do.

      If you want to say DJ ran a lazy route, fine. But that throw was garbage. There was a window just outside the hash marks but that ball was thrown damn near to the sideline. I don't know what route DJ was supposed to run but if you're Ben Johnson you also have to know your QB in this situation. Williams is a gunslinger at heart and any points on this drive wins you the game. You gotta protect him from himself and be methodical. Draw up a deep shot and he's probably gonna uncork that thing whether it's there or not. There's also the reality that DJ might have been concussed. He took a hard hit on the sidelines earlier and spent several minutes in the tent and just never looked the same in that game after that. I put some blame all the way around on this one. DJ didn't run the greatest route and seemed to not be expecting the ball. Williams through a bad ball and tool an unwise risk at that point in the game. And Johnson set himself up to get show in his own foot by his gunslinger.

      Statistically, Bryce should NOT be a starting QB, and the consistency shows that. He shows up against favorable secondaries, and disappears against good ones. Hopefully now the team is focused on giving him better receivers and the receivers will win games on their own, ala Steve Smith type receivers, and he won’t be as big of a liability. That’s asking a lot for a #1 overall pick QB to need that of course. Whe we just had a QB before Bryce that took teams to the playoffs with Brenton Bersin and Kaylin Clay as his top receivers
