yeah im gonna have a bit of a meltdown here. im drunk/sad/butthurt but whatever, here goes

during the course of the 2015 panthers season, we saw the team go 15-1, and yet i didnt really enjoy myself. i was always nervous and on edge about the next series, and after, the next game. i got way too invested and stressed about a game where people just throw balls around - and for what? waiting until february to buy a t-shirt that says that they were the best? then after about a week, sit on my ass with the rest of you watching young men in their underwear during the leadup to the draft hoping that one of them will push us over the edge? no thanks.

and seeing other teams fans shitpost on other sites is making me legit heated, like extremely angry.

its just not fun anymore. im freeing myself from all of this.  im requesting a permaban from the huddle. you all are a cool little community filled with cool guys but yeah i need a new hobby, one that i can control the outcome of.

if this doesn't catch a permabanban ill be posting porn in various threads. good day.

Bro, there's not much you could have done. We fluked our way into the Super Bowl, and got exposed at OL and WR, where our poo GM thought he was smarter than everyone else. Well, he's not and got exposed. He's a fraud. And we lost because of it. Delusional people with zero football IQ will tell you otherwise, but you know the truth.

Haha I know the feeling man. You'll be back. This poo is addicting. We showed a lot of things this season and although we didn't win it all I'm putting some things in perspective. I had a TON of fun this year with friends and family and debating and enjoying all the posts here on the huddle. This hurts like hell, but focus on the good stuff. Hopefully you made some memories this season with some buddies and most importantly had fun.

FLUKED!?!?!!? we beat the 2 best teams in the NFL on our way in as well as 6 wins against playoff teams on our way to a superbowl.  I may be pissed off, and I may want to strangle a small animal right now, but in NO WAY was what we accomplished this year a fluke.

I'm just tired of the fuggin rigged as NFL. They rigged our 49er playoff game and they rigged this superbowl so Peyton could go off into the sunset. I mean fuggin seriously, that was an obvious catch that changed the whole momentum to start the game, calling that bullsh*t penalty on that uncatchable ball on Norman when (I think Roby) did the same thing to Ginn, all the obvious missed holds, etc. I'm just tired of it. We've gotten assfugged by the refs all season and will continue into next year because refs hate Cam so much.

Yes, fluked. Not that hard to realize.

    • Saw this show up in my new feed. Nice to see a couple of our rookies making it into the top 5 so far, even if it is a pff measure... From https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-top-15-rookies-week-9-2025 ... 4. TE Mitchell Evans, Carolina Panthers (78.7) Evans struggled in the Panthers’ tight win over the Packers, finishing with a 41.8 PFF overall grade — third worst among tight ends this week. He was not targeted in the game and played only one snap in pass protection. He did log 15 run-blocking snaps, and although he earned a 68.9 PFF run-blocking grade in zone looks (seven snaps), his 39.0 mark in gap schemes (second worst for the week) dragged him down to a 46.6 PFF run-blocking grade overall — sixth worst for the week. Despite seeing zero targets over his past two games, Evans still leads the Carolina tight end group with a 74.3 PFF receiving grade. He has caught all nine of his targets for 90 yards, six first downs and two touchdowns. Evans also leads the Panthers’ tight end group in PFF run-blocking grade (72.2). He has recorded a 20.5% positive play rate across 175 snaps.  5. WR Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers (78.6) McMillan had a better day against the Packers, recording four catches for 46 yards. Most of that production came in the first quarter via two 16-yard catches — one of which he snatched from Carrington Valentine’s hands, who was in perfect position to break up the pass. McMillan accounted for three first downs on the day, although Green Bay was able to limit his impact after the catch, holding him to 0.8 yards after the catch per reception. McMillan now has 41 catches for 558 yards — a top-15 mark. He is also tied for second with 19 explosive gains of 15-plus yards. Three of McMillan’s catches against the Packers came between the numbers, bringing him to 22 for 318 yards and 19 first downs (tied for second most) this season. He owns a 26.1% threat rate and a 76.6 PFF receiving grade between the numbers. He also ranks in the top 10 in explosive gains (10) and yards after the catch per reception (5.5) within that area of the field.
    • At least we don't need to hear overreacting about towels ...
    • Actually there is, try being a Charlotte Hornets fan. I mean the team fuging moved at its peak and hasn't recovered since and that was 25 years ago
