Yeah Addison is definitely a specialist. He really ruined Okungs day in the playoff game against Seattle though, that sack was pretty damn memorable.

Low risk/high reward signings are my favorite. Doesn't hurt to bring in a talented guy like that to add to a thin position. JPP could fall into that category too, don't know what his market is gonna be like though

Along with being released twice, it makes you think the other teams know something we don't. One thing's for sure. Gman isn't gonna pick him up just because he went 16th in the draft. He'll peel back some layers to have a good look.

Coples has been in the wrong system since being drafted.  He was a true 4-3 Left End in College and was a 1st round pick because of it.   You put him in our system even has depth or rotational guy and get him cheap its a no brainer.  If anything no signing bonus and if he flops you cut in Camp.  Coples should get a look because he is a freak at 6-6 290.  DL is an area we need depth so why not.

You're missing the point, you give the guy a chance for depth reasons.  Not because you want him to start.  Because as fans we know Wes Horton has wore out his stay here.  And Coples in a backup role>Horton.

Totally agree. Coples can also rotate at the DT position. He outweighs Horton by 30lbs but still runs almost  .1 second faster in the 40. Both are about at the same strength benching 24/25 at 220
