I feel like this is the wrong thing to be disappointed in, one of only two conference champions and it was never really close. defense wins championships and the Broncos had a better one.

The signatures were got at the practice field by a sports collector that I know. They were got in August  so it has Jarrett Boykin for example and I he got Allen later when he was traded for. It is missing Robert and Cortland though.

I grabbed a helmet with Cam, Luke, TD, Stew, Olsen, JNo, and Rivera on it last week...sad in the outcome of the year, but needed something to remember our best season ever.

They were better at forcing game changing turnovers with the help of the refs.  not sure id call that better

Defense wins championships?  Our defense was better in every single stat but turnovers.  Who in Superbowl 50 tied the record for most sacks, or who had multiple sacks and an interception?  That vaunted best D of all time gave up 315 NET yards after all.  Ours didn't even give up 200.  

no, the thing that killed us was special teams.  Our D wasn't on the field on the missed FG kick, the punt return, or the FumbleTD.  I can't quit give credit to Denver having the better D since ours was just as good.  Takeaway the longest punt return in SB history and put 3 on the board for our missed kick and it's a one possession game on the final drive.  That final drive is a completely different look down 1 score instead of 2.  Especially if you boot a touchback on our missed FG instead, the 20 is 14 yards further than the spot of ball at the 34 and that's over 4 more plays for them at their puny average per play.  Their longest pass of the game was the very next play after the missed kick due to momentum imo.  Good hypothetical odds that the following drive stalls instead of ending in a FG.  All I'm saying is that our D almost won us a championship as well by being just as good, not by being worse.

I believe you mean to say the Broncos had fewer penalties and the ball bounced their way more. Better to be lucky than good is the lesson.

The Panthers had the better offense and the better defense. The Broncos had the better special teams and the better officiating crew. Panthers win 9 out of 10 times with those stats minus the penalties.

Unfortunately, the Panthers hold the record for most penalties in a Super Bowl. 2015 Panthers are #1 most penalized team. 2003 Panthers are the #2 most penalized team.
