Deangelo Williams posted his Panthers termination today on twitter.

Cannot say I disagree with any of the reasons given. Deangelo was a disappointment on and off the field. Williams refused to sign fans autographs for countless people.

Afterwards, Deangelo showed up in Pittsburgh 15 pounds lighter and had a good season. Amazing what caring about your performance again can do. I am glad he used this as motivation to improve himself.

Poor baby.  Had to work for a mean old team that paid him tens of millions of dollars and then had the nerve to cut him when he was hurt, fat and/or ineffective year after year.  Good thing he never got a job in the real world where nobody gives a fug about you and you make diddly poo for the honor of working your ass off.

This guy is a clown. Why do we continue to give him the attention he seeks. Anyone with half a brain who follows the Panthers always knew Stewart was the better RB. He is clearly burning bridges with the fans and organization. I hope years from now we all look back and don't put him in the same conversation as panther greats.

How the fug can you be so damn muscular and big...and be so patently bitch made?? How is it even possible? I'm not sure how it's possible to pass an NFL physical when the testicular exam I'm sure they give, should have revealed that he has a weeping vagina and not testicles.  We don't wanna hear anything more from you, you fuging mewling quim.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
