Deangelo Williams posted his Panthers termination today on twitter. 

 

Cannot say I disagree with any of the reasons given. Deangelo was a disappointment on and off the field. Williams refused to sign fans autographs for countless people. 

Afterwards, Deangelo showed up in Pittsburgh 15 pounds lighter and had a good season. Amazing what caring about your performance again can do. I am glad he used this as motivation to improve himself.

Poor baby.  Had to work for a mean old team that paid him tens of millions of dollars and then had the nerve to cut him when he was hurt, fat and/or ineffective year after year.  Good thing he never got a job in the real world where nobody gives a fug about you and you make diddly poo for the honor of working your ass off.

Being cut extended his career. He really needs to get over it. If anything, he should thank them for motivating him. Had he stayed on and faded away, he would have been a forgotten commodity and the NFL would have moved on.

I have no idea what his motive was to post this. Obviously it was true that being out of shape and not giving 100% is a bad look for him, not the Panthers. Good way to kick yourself in the nuts. You are not missed at all
