So of the two kids we spoke to at the Sr Bowl, both were hog mollies from small schools. Overall, it looks like DLine is our priority.

Those are the only two that actually got reported on Twitter. We probably met with everyone that was there save maybe the QBs and we still likely talked to a few of them. You can honestly just throw out the meetings from the all star games since it's really just if a media member happens to witness guys talking to our scouts.

Who we use our 60 combine interviews on, bring into Charlotte to visit and do private on campus workouts with are the ones to pay attention to.

Ugh. Gettleman's small school specials never work.

Gettleman's made sixteen draft picks as Panthers GM; only two of which didn't come from I-A schools.

The first was Edmund Kugbila.  the second, David Mayo, contributed on special teams last year.

I follow a bunch of media and former pro scouts and - during the Senior Bowl - they were enjoying all the "Player X met with Team Y at the Senior Bowl" reports. Apparently each team has at least one rep meet with every player at the Senior Bowl, it's just that not all these reports get out. So you could say we met with...everyone.

    • The motto means nothing if they lay down and submit to the opponent. One of the most embarrassing things I have seen from twenty years of being a fan.  Regardless if the lead seems to be insurmountable, you keep giving 110% untill the final second. Canales is definitely a Beta and it wasn't a good look at all. I wonder what the locker room was whispering about after that sh%t. I hope we never see this again and he actually grows a pair of balls. He needs to look in the mirror and understand that you just don't do that in the NFL. Maybe peewee football so kids don't get hurt. Throw the 3rd stringers in to run the play and finish the game wirh some some pride and don't bend the knee.
    • No but we should have kept both of them. People complaining about what he got paid can’t say much now because it’s absolutely worth it to get 15 sacks which we could desperately use, especially when you compare it to some of the free agents we have signed to try to replace that production (none of them have come close and we are wasting good money on them)
    • That period started rough but the canes stayed with it.  They will when this game 3-1 or 4-2 the way it’s going.
