Janoris Jenkins got 14 mill a year. Based on the market this year that's what he should be asking. So it's not much of a joke. He won't get it with us, obviously.

Bill Polian made a comment on Sirius NFL Radio months ago about offering big contracts to FA players. Basically saying a deal like $16M for Norman may seem ludicrous now, but in 2-3 years it will an average to below average price with the way the market is inflating and rise is salary cap. We are already seeing that with Luke and Cam.

Bill Polian sucks.  USFL folds and he gets Jim Kelly.  Lucks into Peyton Manning.  That's it.  Hater and bitter old man.

Lol at 24. He's out of his mind. He may not even play this year for the Panthers if he holds out. Like others have said,he will go to a bad team and be forgotten about. Hope he's happy when that day comes, but he's unstable and will likely cry and whine like a baby.

He should be aiming for slightly better than Jenkins deal. 16M is fantasy land. Not even bad teams will pay that, especially given his age.

Jenkins contract averages 12.5M per year. 13-13.5M for Josh is the best  he can/should get IMO.

He's not going to get it here. Getts doesn't believe defense rules with guys like Norman. The front 7 is key and that's where the money will be spent as long as G is the GM.

That's ok. At least we would be prepared for it. Plus he would be too old to command that figure.

      Nothing about the Flyers scare me. They are a mid team that just barely made the playoffs.
