Gettleman has never drafted a 1st round pick that attended the draft. If anything it means the opposite, but really it doesn't mean anything.

i truly believe that whether a player goes to the draft says a lot about their personality and that is not a characteristic we are looking for with a round 1 pick. Ealy went to the draft but wasn't our first-- he's a great player and a good person but insight into his personality has been shared on this board and is consistent with what i'm saying.

I actually like Keanu Neal big time, and (as always...depends on who's there at 30), wouldn't be mad if we took him.  His style of play is what we're looking for, IMO.

I'm weird with this draft though.... I think Shepard and Neal are fringe 1st rounders.  All depends on fit for the team selecting.

Unknown. Those 25 are definitely going but not sure if more will be added. Last few years they've had 40-50 players there so you'd think there would be more coming but they could have scaled it back or more 2nd round+ prospects decided to pass.
