Panthers Select Zack Sanchez CB Oklahoma in the 5th Round

We added two big/long guys to compete outside and this guy (who can fuging play) to compete at slot. Kind of WTF and funny to grab CB three picks in a row, but if we scouted well we could be set at every spot in the secondary for years. As someone else mentioned, one of the three might even slide to S if needed.

Aint even mad.

Again....number one scoring offense in the damn league and we get our #1 WR back.  Why is that so hard for you to grasp?

Stfu already

You like bringing up how are defense has old players guess what, Ginn, Olsen, Khalil and Oher are all old. Our offense was the reason we lost the SB. No team in NFL history has had back to back number 1 scoring offenses.

what dude???? We have to build depth on offense specifically TE ,just like we built depth on LBs, DTs, CBs, etc

Dude...this TE class sucked.  Adding a scrub TE in the 5th round is NOT going to help the offense...but a guy like Sanchez helps our thin DB situation.

People also need to remember that we still have a lot of money to spend if we want to pick someone up off the free agency market.  Gettleman's proven he is willing to do that and we are closing in on the deadline where it won't affect our comp pick next year.

So for those of you begging we add something to our offense, it's not too late for that.

I feel good about our offense.. any team, any position group can get the injury bug at any time so if these are the guys they wanted, I'm with it.  KB, Funch, Ginn, Stephen Hill, Philly, Byrd, Bersin possible free agents...it's gonna be some comp in that room.

I would like be the salesman at a car dealership when Gettleman has to replace his mini-van.

He fugin ends up walking his Van down the road with the door open and hands on the wheel while it's in Neutral....the salesman chases him down and is like ok ok...come into the office.

This CB is pretty much a scrub when you add in Boykin and Bene, Jerelle Adams would have been a great addition that could develop in couple of years.

And exactly who in the 5th round would help the offense more than Sanchez helps our thin DB situation?  You are just one of those low info people who just want to see a pick on offense no matter who they are.

so do the world a favor any you STFU...your low info rambling is embarrassing for this site.

    • I am high, but that’s besides the point! The blue line is not good right now. I’ve said it all year. I don’t think this group meshes well. Slaven has been just OK Niki up and down Miller up and down ghost and Walker have been your most consistent guys. Maybe it comes together more towards the playoffs
    • I was expecting to see more cap room moves by now, which may be to suggest that we are not going to be that aggressive.  I have mixed emotions about that (because I think we have 3 needs on D and 3 needs on O--starters).  If you look to the draft for 3 starters, that is ambitious.  We need 6
    • Yeah we shouldn’t be competing with teams, bidding wise, to sign a WR. There will be one for us and our budget.  I keep saying, how many balls will there be to go around anyway? One thing good I will say for this offense is the ball has been spread around at times. Seems like I remember seeing a large number of guys have caught passes in a game. Or been targeted at least. 3 RBs 4 or 5 WRs 2-3 TEs type of stat lines. 10-11 guys.  Not every week but that happens.    As far as WR in general, we need the smaller agile and quicker component to compliment what is there. After that it should be about depth, having good backups for the starters so we can run things consistently still, if a guy is out for a week or two. That is especially important in game where you have to finish the game with who you made active.
