Tulsa sure did use Garrett a lot. I can totally see him in this offense.

Garrett led the nation in receiving yards,  so it's not just Sanchez that he abused.

It may also have to do with how Sanchez is being used. In the Presser, GM said he was looking at him like a Nickle. But I think this goes to show that draft grades are pretty deceiving. A lot has to do with match ups , schemes and coaching. These two guys have great talent... I'm excited to see how they'll be used.

if you look at this footage, OK was up most of this game and it looks like they were trying to prevent the big play... Which is why their corners were playing so far off. The offense was taking what the defense gave them... And a little more.

Wow Garrett ate his lunch in that game. But we won't be lining Sanchez up outside with a 15 yard cushion most of the time. Hopefully.

he caught it plenty which is great, but part of his draft weaknesses was apparent there-- he isn't breaking a lot of tackles. there were a couple of 3rd downs he didn't convert by a couple of yards because he went down immediately. still like him though, but he's gonna need to learn to use his body from KB.

Quite a few plays in that package that didn't include Sanchez.

First few weren't good for him obviously. Getting abused by those quick slants like that would be a very bad sign for a Nickle, wouldn't they?

Wow. Sanchez has a lot of bad tape. Doesn't seem to offer much at all in the way of run support, and he gambles way too much defending the pass.
