Panthers Rookie Camp this Friday and Saturday

Jeremy Igo

Recommended Posts

The Carolina Panthers will hold their 2016 rookie camp this Friday and Saturday. All rookies, UDFA's and invited tryout players should be in attendance. There is a morning and afternoon session on Friday and on Saturday a single extended session where the rookies and tryout players show the Panthers coaches what they have retained.

I will be in attendance for all practices and will report back with photos, videos, interviews, and such.

Actual football content!

Rejoice!

Can't wait. I'm really excited about Sandland. Let us know what you think of him.

The only rookie I won't be able to remark much on is Butler. Trying to assess defensive tackles in non contact drills is fairly pointless.

Let us know if the wideouts can catch the ball.

No sir. That is a rookie mistake. You don't load up on coffee then stand on the practice field for a couple hours with no bathroom in sight

Stop by the good ol' Waffle House, get the All-Star breakfast with all the way hashbrowns(chili and jalapenos) wash it down with a pot of black coffee and see where the day takes ya.

I get you. he was the one I wanted to know about the least. I loved the pick I just know he will be good. The db's and Sandland have me curious.

    • They will be if they extend Young but I don't think we're there just yet. Morgan and Canales are tied and I don't believe Tepper is going to go look for a new front office for Bryce as things stand.
    • I was playing around with the ESPN playoff predictor and it shows if 49ers and Rams finish with same record, the Rams hold the tiebreaker.
    • This is my thinking as well. Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers.  I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win.  Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend.  If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.
