I wonder if that's  going to cheapen it for the Panthers since they already play there all the time. Should be a good homecoming super bowl win for Cam though.

I would think it would be hugely in our favor, basically as close to a home crowd / home field as you can get without playing in CLT.

It's our turf now anyway. The Roaring Riot card @SCP buried in the parking lot last year will soon be paved over and solidified in perpetuity, tainted with the mark of Carolina Panthers fans and the haunting whispers of Atlanta's championship woes.

The ground is soured.

That is really close to all the other SB locations for the past decade. Would be nice for the panthers for nearness , for fans, and for cam for playing at his home anyway.

I guess a little to far in the future to know but it would be cool to see the Panthers there. Cam would be 29 but our team could be quite different in 3 seasons worth of time.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
