According to this ESPN ranking system- Cam Newton is the most famous NFL player in the world, and the 32nd overall ranked athlete.

Guess he was serious about becoming an "icon and entertainer" after all.

My thoughts exactly.  Seeing Cricket players in the top 100, let alone top top 20, is very surprising to me.  Guess I had no idea Cricket was that popular...

2-3 billion people watch cricket its pretty big in all of the former  common wealth countries.

As I saw the promo for Cam's new show on Nickelodeon I thought, entertainer -  check. He became the icon last year with the year of the dab. He has done both and all the haters can lick his testicular fortitude. So great.
