Elliott is a MONSTER this piece of trash should NEVER play in the NFL, EVER, what a monster this guy is

He doesn't even play an in demand position, RB's are a dime a dozen .. this guy should never put on shoulder pads again unless it's in Canadian football, this guy is a wife beating monster and no team would EVER have him on their roster

amiright?

Depends.

In today's world if he acts like Ray Rice did AFTER his incident and doesn't show concerning behavior....he likely will easily play in the NFL.

If he acts like Hardy did AFTER his incident......who knows.

Hardy had charges brought and was sentenced.  This would be a different story.  Here, EE has not been charged because prosecutors haven't finished their investigation.  Could be that they ultimately decide not to pursue.  That's all important from an NFL suspension standpoint.  Precedent in Rice's and Hardy's case does not apply here.  I am unaware of any other league action here.  Will be interesting as it plays out.

What was Hardys sentence on his charges that were dropped? Please tell me that

I can't remember, did Hardy get charged before he was put on the exempt list or after?

Charged....then in the intervening and Ray Rice fiasco blew up and Hardy was convicted at a bench trial with right to appeal as a matter of course for a trial de novo....then exempt list.  IIRC

After he was charged. The bench trial happened before the season, Hardy was found guilty so immediately appealed so the conviction is waived for a jury trial which is Hardy's right and after week 2 he was placed on the exempt list because the NFL didn't want the media backlash of DV people playing so they hid him away

    • Rags lost again. All is right in the hockey world.
    • He’s responsible for two drafts classes. The first was one of the worst drafts I’ve ever seem. The second one is showing a ton of promise. I’m somewhere between skeptical and hopeful on Morgan.
    • I'm a big fan of Dan. His ability to find productive players deep in the draft will pay off.  I'm going to give him 1.5 draft classes right now, because I do think it's a little unfair to evaluate his first year when he got the job in January, especially when we went into that draft not having a first round pick.  XL and Brooks are still big time TBD players. Both still have incredibly high ceilings, but both have also given us legitimate reasons to have a lot of pause. Trevin Wallace, Chau Smith Wade and Jatavion Sanders have IMO outplayed their draft position early in their careers. That's a great thing. He also got Coker and Demani Richardson as UDFAs that year. Given the situation we were in, I really don't mind the gamble on the high ceiling guys. Still may work out, still may not, but if you made a checklist of ideal situation for an NFL GM to walk into, ours was near the bottom of that list.  Every single 2025 pick is contributing in some way. That typically doesn't happen. I am absolutely blown away by this draft class 6 games in. Even the best GM's miss on occasion, and we can't expect Dan to be 100% on drafts moving forward. Ryan Fitzgerald was an excellent find as well.  Comparing our last two drafts to the previous few is pretty shocking. Can you imagine this season without our Rookies? It would not be good. Additionally, this roster only has 6 players with more than 6 years of experience, and two of those are specialist.  The next step is equally important, and still very much TBD. We have to avoid Cap Chaos.
