Apparently the paint somehow hardened into a tar-like goop. Then again the field at Canton is always garbage.

Yesterday, the HOF speech pre-show on NFLN said this was the first year they had the speeches inside the stadium, instead of on the steps of the HOF building. Had rows and rows of folding chairs set up in the bowl of the stadium, which was a concrete floor. I remember thinking, "How are they going to put grass down and get the bowl ready for a game in 24 hours?"

Next time they better use FieldTurf
