PFF says Cash top ranked rookie OLB

You always have to take a chance on football players, no matter what size they are. He doesn't have the measurables and he didn't have a concrete position coming out, but he's a player and when you get him on the field, you start to see that football IQ come through. I would keep him on the 53 just to see what he looks like with 10-15 more lbs. on his frame. I see some pass rushing upside in him as well, which might be something he can offer as soon as this upcoming season.

I think we have to at this point. And I think Mayo or Jacobs will be the one to go.

No Mayo to go. He sticks.

Trade Kline and keep both. We will not be able to sign him, so pick up a draft pick.

Klein will be a Panther this season too.

Please for the love of god Gettleman draft another linebacker next year who's last name is Tango.

I never comment, just read - but have to take a second to say that is some funny sh*t! Someone should take your post and write a book. You could name yours "Sh-t Montsta Says" ( Think "Sh-t My Dad Says")

    • and one is lead by 3rd year starter we are debating a contract and big decisions  on soon…..and one by a rookie 2nd rounder thrust into the gig.   which is the entire point.  And we are talking Tyler freaking Shough.  Not Drake Drake Maye Maye.   Which is really the type QB that should be brought up.  Actual good young QB play
    • Saw a mock draft where we selected this player.
    • Incorrect, I have watched us consistently over quite a number of years. When I say Cam relied on athleticism, I simply mean his dual threat style and athleticism overshadowed the deficiencies in the passing game (his own or those created by the system).  Now I wouldn’t disagree that our OCs over that time were not amazing and arguably held him back, but correct me if I’m wrong, Cam had a habit of locking onto his receivers and overthrowing them. Gettleman even drafted two big receivers - Kelvin Benjamin and Devin Funchess - to give Cam receivers with a big catch radius.  Again, correct me if I’m wrong, but Cam had some mechanical issues. For example, the reliance on arm strength over touch and his footwork often led to him throwing off the back foot. There were many debates on these boards about his mechanics, with far more knowledgeable posters than I braking down what he needed to improve on. End of the day, I was as big a Cam fan as the next person, but he did have his shortcomings as a passer. Had he played under someone like Sean McVay or a similar offensive guru, with a high quality QB coach, then I’m sure they would have ironed out the kinks and he would have been far more dangerous and successful than he was. And that’s a scary thought of what he could have been under the likes of a McVay!
