Not good a great defense, and there aren't many in the NFL this year. Viking and Denver may be the two best defenses in the NFL

I just hope they adjust by the playoffs. Goal 1 is make the playoffs, 2  is get to the super bowl. 

You don't always have to be pretty getting into the playoffs but you have to get there to have a chance. Steelers and Giants won Super Bowls going 9-7 into the playoffs. Point being I just want us to get in and then I'll worry about he rest. We are what we are this year. We are going to have to adjusts to our talents before the end of the season. Very little chance of picking up someone at this point that's worth a damn. So why worry about the playoffs at this point?

Are the Panthers capable of winning and blowing teams out?

Absolutely!

Will the coaches learn to lean on their play makers and blow teams out every week?

I highly doubt it.

The coaches continue to play to their team's weaknesses while hoping the defense gets turnovers.

They will continue to roll this garbage out until the team is in the hole, and once they are in the hole they will let the offense loose with big plays to string several wins together.

About Rivera not making adjustments dude has won coach of the year 2 of the last 3 years, you don't get that for not making adjustments. Y'all are scared about a bunch of nothing.

We always get better as the season goes on. That was offset last year by playing some pretty bad teams at the beginning of the year and even then we just squeaked out wins. This year we've started by playing two very good teams. I'm conerned but I do expect the team to get better as the season goes on.

The defense isn't the same level as last year. We certainly have kinks to work out. We played some really good defenses so far but it's still alarming to be losing to inferior teams.

Well, I think we are at a point where the playoffs are an expectation.  I don't disagree that an ugly 9-7 playoff team that wins it is fine, but at this point I don't see us being that team.

We can bounce back and become that team, but we have to get back to basics like protecting the QB with players and plays, protecting the football and rushing the passer.

Here let me say it again. Cam Newton came into the worst offense in the NFL. Since then the Panthers have spent exactly 1 pick on offense...KB who was about the 8th pass catcher taken at the end of round 1. Oh, and he was taken because literally we had no one else to play WR.

You can go on and on with making excuses as to why the Panthers under Newton seem incapable of protecting their franchise, MVP, QB with talent and protection, instead I choose to see the obvious.
