I know.

Maybe it is Cam not getting the play going in time...you have ZERO knowledge about how any of that plays out.  It could be Shula taking too long and it also could be Cam taking too long.  This is a prime example of what I said....blame Shula when things go poorly and give Cam all the credit when they go well.

Cap had one 15 yard run....and then was stoned over and over and over.  We had zero run game.

In CAPs first 6 touches he had 5 rushes for 22 yards and 1 catch for 11 yards....

After that he touched the ball 2 times for 8 yards in the first half....

So 7 carries for 30 yards almost 5 yards a carry and a catch for 11 yards...not bad for one half....in comparison...

2 half
He touched the ball 4 times for 13 yards...never again in the 4th quarter...

When it comes to when the team lines up, its on Shula. Can very regularly takes too long to get everything set after he's got the play, but it's only "too long" because they have no time to work with. The two are not, and never have been, in sync in that respect.

Cap had 12 rushes, for 47 yards. (With a 16 yarder brought back.)  I would not consider that being stonewalled. We also kept our streak of 100yd games going. Far from zero run game.

Well Coaches evaluate talent and weaknesses and run things that fit. Shula calling deep and long devolping plays when we have a weak O-line against speed rushers is enough  to tell the tale.

Also, who calls a play action deep and long developing pass when you are on your own 1 yard line? Yeah Cam hung on to the ball too long but it's because he's waiting for the stupid play to finish it's routes.

We joke about it around here a lot, but seriously. Teams have figured it out. Stack the box, and send the fuging house after Cam, and you're successful.

Sure, we've faced some amazing defenses since the SB, but we gotta stop those guys to win the big one.

Atl and Denver did it last year, and I guarantee you teams are watching film on those games to mimmick the poo.

I've never been on his jock. Last year's offense wasn't a product of his "genius". It was our players. I'll give him credit for one thing, his run-game game is on point.  But when it comes to the passing game, he's a lost child in the woods.

You beat me to it. But I'll temper the run game creativity with he has been known to get too cute at times. However, yesterday Shula called the QB Power/Draw at the right times for short gains. Only time that play didn't work well was when it was a FB lead and Tolbert decided to block Olsen instead of the LB.
