Anybody else interested in seeing what our offense looks like with DA?

No. I want to see my MVP Franchise QB.

Seriously, Cam Newton must play for one of the worst fan bases in the NFL.

I don't understand how you got "our offense sucks with Cam so let's get hyped for DA!" out of my post. Cam is injured, and Derek Anderson will most likely get the start.  I'm just asking if anybody is interested in the adjustments we'll make with Cam missing.  People are always saying Shula needs to make adjustments.  Looks like he'll have no choice next week.

No. I want to see the franchise quarterback, but I want him to be healthy. I'm not on the bench Cam bandwagon because the issues he's having have more to do with protection and play calling. He's the starter for a reason.

The fact there is a bench Newton bandwagon not even 4 games into his post-MVP season tells you all you need to know about Carolina and the Huddle.

This concussion could be a blessing in disguise for Cam to get healthy and Shula to adjust game plan with more of a traditonal power/ zone run game oh yeah  fuging play action

Well, if the team is regressing to old habits, why not the huddle?

donavan mcnabb played for the worst fan base of all time.

You know, I have said it more than once...Cam Newton  is this generation's McNabb. A once in a lifetime QB who by sheer talent and will becomes one of the NFL's best in the face of constant doubt. And like McNabb, Newton plays for a franchise that thinks offensive talent is optional. But at least McNabb had Andy.

    • Other than the wasted pick on Allar, id love this.
    • Hos production by snap count and targets isn't bad. They must REALLY be tired of dealing with his knuckleheaded behavior which is saying something for an organization that put up with Stephon Diggs for four years.
    • Bryce had his best season this year and it wasn't even remotely as good as Stroud's "worst" (2024, which was still a damn good season). His passer rating and efficiency were actually up this year compared to last.  His yards and TDs would likely have been higher as well, were it not for missing three games due to injury.  So he's actually improved his overall body of work. I don't see any trend downward whatsoever.  I agree the playoff game was a meltdown, but I think that had much more to do with missing weapons and what appeared to be an injured hand.  After his hand hit the center's helmet his accuracy clearly suffered.  It was a terrible game, but I don't foresee it being as career-altering. In regard to the topic of the thread, I'd trade 5 Bryce Youngs for one CJ Stroud in an instant and never look back.
