Come on man, you can literally do this for almost every pick made in the draft.

A lot of people expected us to go wideout again after clearing house of all our receivers, Allen was a steal at the time and looking back! Ealy was a surprise Pick and has been a disappointment so far.

Saying that Bene was picked in be 5th when I a few picks later Aaron Lynch was picked, man wish we had Lynch now he's a solid DE.. Hindsight and that.

Kony Ealy the pick in the second. The guy picked next after him is Allen Robinson SMH! Then you have him and KB and we don't have to trade up for Funchess last year. These drafts have knock on effects in terms of need the following year. Sometimes BPA is just not the way to go.

Of course you can say hindsight is 20/20 and you could do this for every draft, but DAMMIT I REALLY wanted Allen Robinson and was so hype when it was our pick because I thought for sure we were picking him and double down on WRs. And honestly, I thought Allen Robinson was a 1st round talent (had him ranked ahead of KB) after watching him play for Penn State all of that previous year. Dude was BPA, not Ealy. Actually remembering correctly, Ealy was a WTF pick to everybody including analysts.

How about we look at the ones that absolutely are irredeemable busts?

2013 - Kugbila, Barner

2014 - Gaffney

2015/16 - Jury is still in session.

Let's compare to years before that:

2009 - Brown, Irvin, Goodson, Fiammetta, Robinson

2010 - Clausen, Edwards, Norwood, Gettis, Pugh, Pike, Stanford

2011 - McClain, Fua, Hogan, Wilson, Williams, Ziemba

2012 - Alexander, Adams, Campbell, Silatolu

I'll take Gettleman, thanks.

True bro. We cleaned house that year on all our wideouts! Signed avant and cotch but that was about it. Sure we drafted Benji first round but Robinson and Benji would been a stud duo. Robinson runs crisp routes and has great speed and hands. It may be hindsight but bigger picture means we don't draft up for Funch and lose a third round starter in all likelihood.

I wanted Robinson too, and was pissed when we passed him up.

I would disagree with Bradberry in the OP.  Not because I don't like him but because I believe we could have gotten him in the 3rd or 4th round.  I really think he can turn into one of the best if he keeps at it.

As far as worth...I believe all of the players in the OP were "worth" their draft selection (except Bradberry, see above). I was looking at the 2016 draft and you will be hard pressed to find anyone to select after the 2nd round.  But it's only been 5 months since the draft and you never know who will shine 3-4 years from now.  Hell, if you look at the 2013 draft, Kelce, Honey Badger, Jordan Reed were selceted in the 3rdround.  Zac Stacy in the 5th. Latavius Murray in the 6th.

You just never know.

Now, now, let the kids have their fun. Plenty of time to learn patience when you grow up.

I will say that fans have a right to express their unhappiness. But man, with this social network world we live in, we have to listen to some really wacky ones.

If it weren't for the Huddle, most of us wouldn't have anyone to discuss the Panther with. Unfortunately, having to listen to kids (I Deserve Better Than This.) rantings, just comes with the territory. I read almost every post, in every thread. Those comments that are over the top amuse me. I take them as entertainment, and just keeping movin' on. I reply to folks I think will make good conversation. And rarely jump in on those that get carried away. I have been here since before the CO melt down, and all in all this place is great. But man, some of these kids are, hellz, I'll stick with wacky. Take the good with the bad, and let the kids do what kids do. Whine, and rant about how the world/Panthers are sticking to them.  Sorry for the mini rant. Now get off my dammm lawn. lol

I agree some way. I don't think the 2016 draft had much play now day one talent.
