Cam comes back and gives a pretty damn good MVP performance and still lose thanks to super shitty D... good god gettleman you really fuged the team didn't ya??

Ya this loss feels different. I really think they would have gone on a run had they pulled off this comeback.  Pretty sad honestly.

Get ready for another 2010 season ..........we have been here before.  Hope we clean house and get rid of everyone from Gettleman on down the line.

Need to be a shitload of coaching changes.. but will it happen this season? Highly doubted it. They get to stew in their own muck for 2 good weeks to think about it now, at least. Maybe there's a shot in hell for it to happen.

As bad as the coaching was, I will blame this loss squarely on our extra terrible Defensive Backs. So many people were praising Gettleman for playing hardball with Norman, where are you at now?  We could have had Josh Norman, Bene, brought in Boykin and Weddle, could have had an amazing secondary. Could have gotten at DE in the 1st or/and the 2nd, or brought in someone in FA.  This is where bad choices and being full of yourself gets you. You don't just cut off talent (Norman , Bene) and not bring in any and expect things to be all fine and dandy. We're paying for it this entire season.

There is no scapegoat this week. Like the Atlanta game, this was lost on decisions he made.

The play that changed the game was Brandin Cooks long catch on NO second to last drive. Shaq was matched up against him in that famed Buffalo Nickel package that was going to invalidate the need for CBs in the future on football teams around the country.

The Buffalo Nickel just lost us the game. Not having enough NFL quality CBs just lost us the game.

The time will come at the end of the season where Gettleman will crawl up to the podium, finally showing his face after the anger subsides, and he will inevitably, and predictably, tell you

"look I told yah gahs, I don't believe in windows, we expected this, I expected this because I'm pretty smaht, not sure why there was so much hubbub around this season"

and on that day Panther fans will have to decide if they like Gettleman pissing on them and telling them it's rain, or if they are going to hold the man in charge responsible for dismantling a super bowl roster because Rome wasn't considered beautiful unless it was riddled with his fingerprints.

Gettleman is an egoistical fraud whose lack of respect in league circles is visibly evident

Lends credence to the fact he got passed up numerous times for a GM job until he came here... same deal with ron.. other NFL teams saw these 2 for what they really were.. just flashes in the pan.

That play was due to a lack of pass rush. It was an unscripted, back yard play of throw and catch. Cooks is a speed demon and would have burned 80% of the CBs in the NFL given that same scenario.

This defense has always been predicated on getting pressure with the front 4. Lost our best pass rusher to domestic abuse and never made a strong effort to replace him. And as CJ gets older, we've slowly lost our 2nd best pass rusher with no real effort to replace him.

Our coaches can't find ways to manufacture pressure - mostly because the secondary has to be coddled or they'll give up big plays.

We'll get the highest draft pick we've had in the Cam Newton era. Need a pass rush specialist or a dominating LT.

Sure, but some of the teams that passed them up (cleveland) should more than except flashes in the pan.

    • He talks way too much about his time in Seattle and Russell Wilson and how they built that team in 2012.   I won’t fall for any of it until I see them play for a year
    • Lol people like you are so silly and the only reason I seem to care to log on to post these days. How can you sit there and say Bryce was the reason Williams hurt his knee on that play. Maybe it's because you dislike Bryce so you are somewhat blind as to what actually happened? Not quite sure but maybe you should get your eyes checked. Williams hurt himself by trying to make a cut after spinning around to make that catch. Pause it at 3:24. Had he landed and ran like normal instead of going to plant his foot in the ground and make a cut he doesn't get hurt. Don't put that on Bryce. That was 100% Williams fault he got injured
