I think Ron is a good coach but this years team is beyond him for whatever reason.  Offense did play good today but our defense is awful.  It seems like Gettleman wants to play with players in there rookie contracts and not pay anyone afterwards.

I guess at this point it would be futile to trade for anything.  You have to figure 9-7 would be the bare minimum for getting a wildcard and that would require an 8-2 run.  However I am not the type that wants to tank just to get a high pick.  I hope we play with some spark and build for next year.

One thing I can't stand is listening to pure bullcrap excuse's week after week. Problem being that we have another 10 weeks of this shat show to watch along with the excuse machine to follow. I guess what else can he say except throw everyone under the bus.....including himself.

That is exactly what they said last year after Brees backup and Brees threw for a billion yards and we needed Cam to play Superman...AGAIN.

We built this team on defense...and then shrug when they literally give up 500 yards and 3rd and longs...

Of course, because we were so focused on defense...the offense takes a step back and come the regular season talent-less offense cannot compete with the NFL best offenses or score against the NFL's best defenses.

    • Basically agree.  He is the one of that bunch that offers upgraded pass catching along with he is supposed to be kind of special.   Then you have the OL and the ideas that if they perform you can have JAG backs and still do well. So okay we could be fine.  But Brooks is important and to me that receiving element sets him apart.  So there sure is something riding on him.     What strikes me as incongruent is people over in Atlanta or those that follow them look at Penix with a third surgery and act like it is no big deal.      And we are on pins and needles over Brooks.  Either they should worry a lot more or we should worry a lot less.
    • I usually go a game or two optimist over the consensus here but this is too early for me to say. I need to see some players on the field.  I am not feeling real optimistic though.
    • Okay as a ‘take CJ’ fan I actually don’t obsess over CJ and Houston, contrary to the narrative.  But I thought I picked up some noise that his OL left a lot to be desired.    Not a single Beyce supporter would judge him harshly if he had a crappy OL. We all know that.    So be fair about it.  A QB needs to be protected.  Especially a guy that gets to his spot and wants to finish the play from there. Which CJ is.
