Yeah I was thinking the same, " how is he leaving his daughter like tha.....ohhh yea". But still, yeah Carl is pretty much not even in the show anymore, until he is.

so based on next week's previews.....Carol about to turn back into a video game cheat code killing machine?  Sounds like she either finds out people got got or at least knows people haven't been honest with her and something happened.

my biggest complaint again, is TWD just doesn't even attempt to use logic based on their characters.  Take for example, Rick taking the guns to the dumb talking garbage people.  Rick isn't actually dumb enough to give them all those guns and then let them say not good enough and demand twice as many.  His real world background and zombie background would never let him make all these mistakes.  Rick would keep the guns at first and get a real number.

also, the "say yes" was idiotic.   That back and forth made zero sense in the negotiating.  10, 5, 10, 6, 10, 7....20 say yes.  Yes.   Huh?  Rick has just said he wanted 10.  No one would agree to 20 out of the blue.   Lack of effort in the writing is a constant theme of every episode.

First half of the episode seemed like an old TWD episode in many ways.  2nd half seemed like the slop we seem to always get.

TWD writers are lazy bc they know people will still watch as long as there's some gore and zombie killing... and they even leave that behind most times...  

The whole thing with Rick wanting to stay out and not worrying even a little about Carl and Judith is just lazy writing.  Par for the course with this show.

I didn't enjoy this episode much at all.  Just boring filler tbh...  

The best part were the shots of Michonne's ass... she has a killer body.

I caught the first part of Talking Dead. They had one of the long-time producers of the show on. It was funny seeing Chris Hardwick joke about some of the dumb crap that was happening on this episode, like the "fake out" Rick death. It was clear the producer lady was annoyed.

I wonder if Hardwick will be more critical of the show now that he has his own talk show on AMC outside of TWD universe.

my wife said after the Rick "fake out" she was done.  She has watched from day 1.  I mean that was horrible.  So lazy that they pulled that horrible and weak move.  I wouldn't even call it a fake out.  I think TWD is just trolling the audience at this point with how bad they can be.   No body watching believed for a second Rick died nor that Michonne was at risk in a "daze".

it was a bad filler episode (half the episode was)  People only think it was a decent episode because a bad filler episode of prior seasons is better than most of the slop they pull now.

This show is like alcoholism.

At first its fun and makes you feel good but long ago it became something that you just did out of habit.  Now its something you keep swearing you're going to stop because you actually are missing other better things but then youre watching it...

Actually TWD has become Taco Bell at 1am after pounding drinks. 

I read an article where a  dude absolutely eviscerated Negans stupidity and i had no way to muster a disagreement. 

The producers and writers are drunk with ratings now.

My wife mentioned this while we were watching. The whole monologue about how Rich and Michonne can do things together in the future, my wife was screaming AND CARL AND JUDITH. Lol

Yep, good points all around. It's a shame. They've got a relatively strong cast and story-wise great potential, but it has been squandered by inept show runner in Scott Gimple.

not sure he trust them as much as that is his only play.  He needs numbers.   No other way around it.
