Must be nice to have NFL protection...

Aaron Rodgers is off limits. All defenses know this. Even when he is running the ball, you better be careful. Legal hits will result in flags.

The is no doubt that if that was Cam running the ball, it would have been a free shot on his head. Afterall, he is a runner.

For me, it's been fug the refs and fug the players who are doing this. These players don't like Cam either. It's sad their little feelings have been hurt so bad, that they're willing to seriously hurt an individual to try to "humble" him.

If you want to "humble" him, then do it legally. They can't stop him, so they go the illegal route.  Fug the refs for condoning and allowing it, and fug these players who partake in it.

Include the league in general. F-ck all of them. Cam may be one of those people that no matter how hard you try, you won't be able to. I love when I hear people say "he needs to be humbled!" I don't know any competitive person who doesn't celebrate a win. Him smiling and dancing is part of him having fun doing what he loves to do. Grown men getting paid millions and their feelings are hurt by a dab? LOL. I'm almost feeling like the defense needs to start going for other quarterbacks the same way they come for ours. I'm sure if he had Vontaze and Pacman, not too many of these hits will fly before they start retaliating.

To be fair though, it's much more difficult to spear a qb in the head when he's running down the sideline instead of standing in the pocket.

Are you going to ride that one play off into the sunset? Damm dude. RR was talking about Cam jogging into the endzone against atl. ONE play.

Why, yes... yes, I am.  Because its perfectly typical of Ron Rivera.

Unless your player has committed murder, rape, or abuse of women and/or children, how about you, as his head coach, STICK UP for and DEFEND that player.  And if you have any critical words for him, how about doing that behind the closed door of the head coach's office?

Hell, Greg Hardy got more support from Ron Rivera after he was arrested than Cam Newton got for getting a concussion.

So, I repeat, your damn right I'm gonna ride that one into the sunset... at LEAST until Rivera finally sticks up for Cam Newton in public about the damn officiating abuse that he's taking.

Rogers literally is just like Cam. He's a beast, makes amazing plays, can run and throw, celebrates when he wins and scores, gets upset and pouts and yells when he loses (he does this more than Cam), both have won MVP, been to a superbowl, but nobody ever brings it up with him and makes it a big deal. Every time I watch a Packers game he is always yelling and throwing a fit when a call doesnt go his way or he throws an INT but they see that as fire, while Cam does the EXACT SAME THING, and it's arrogance.

Why? Like legitimately why?

Yesterday during Atlanta's game-winning drive, a GB defensive back dropped what looked like a very difficult interception that would have ended the game.

They panned to Rodgers on the sideline and he was throwing a tantrum, shooting daggers from his eyes at the defender on the field.

That's "passion" though!

this is actually pretty sickening.

I hate that this is a discussion instead of an obvious discrepancy in how rules are followed.

theverything double standard is infuriating, and I would feel the same way about this if it were any qb on any team.

2016 is not the year for people with sensibilities.
