Make sure that horse is dead and please, for the love of God, start a new thread on this topic. Two dozen aren't enough. I need more threads.

almost as good as "i saw an offensive line on TV have a good game.  better make a thread about it and find out if anyone else wishes that we had good tackles"

I disagree with this. Coaching is the main reason we lost so many close games. Clock management at Denver, not punching in a TD instead of an INT on 1st and goal at Tampa and not closing out the game by guaranteeing a 3 score lead in the 4th quarter running on 1st and 10 at the KC 20 instead of losing 20 yards and punting. We should be squarely in he playoff hunt and in 1st place in the division at 7-3. Similar mistakes against NO the first time and Minnesota, but those weren't quite as clear cut.

This team IMHO has more talent in it's players than in it's coaches. Good coaches figure out ways to hide or help their weaknesses, we can't and don't. If we make it to the playoffs it's because Cam and our D make great individual plays.

Your whole premise is stupid. Execution is why we lost so many games. It wasn't clock management in Denver it was missing a field goal that he made 10 seconds earlier when Denver called a time out that lost the game.

Anderson throws an interception on first down in the end zone into triple coverage against Tampa. All he had to do was throw it away or hit the wide open TE on the other side of the formation, and finally if Cam doesn't throw a pick six against KC we still win. They didn't have a single offensive TD all day. If Benjamin doesn't fumble we still likely beat them in overtime.

No the game plan was fine but the execution of said game plan was the problem. We should be 7-3 at this point with all the injuries and issues  The coaches have not been the problem at all and anyone who actually knows football can readily see that.

Agreed about Denver. But to be fair we wasted multiple TOs on stupid poo that made us have to kick a 50+ yard FG. If we had those TOs then very realistically it should have been about a 35 yarder. Regardless, he's gotta make that kick but the coaches could have done a lot better there

also lol "yeah i'd give him to mid 2017 but otherwise he's getting a pink slip"

there isn't a team in the league who would fire gettleman roughly a calendar year or so from now unless he was caught on camera robbing a bank.  not even a  joke org. like the browns or chargers would do that.

if anything, rivera and his staff will get shitcanned first if this team continues losing and richardson wants to go that direction.  then gettleman will get several years with his own staff.

Still know more than a  " football historian". I mean it's not like we didn't know that OL was  weakest point after the super bowl and knowing that football players get injured and dealing  with shuffling OL in 2014 one would expect a GM to be prepared

I know right! I mean it's not like Gettleman signed a solid backup C (Gradkowski), spent a draft pick on a promising and solid backup tackle (Williams), and kept a solid guard backup (Scott).

It's not like  he built a team of backups...
