On Nov 11, 2012 we were 2-7

The last time I felt like this was Nov 11th, 2012 when we were 2-7 and going no where. The irony is that the next three years we won the South. Lets hope we can pull out some victories this year.

There is still things to play for. We are are 175 wins and 176 losses all time and I hope we can at lease keep our franchise a winning franchise. #silverlining We can still be the winningest franchise in the NFC South.

I am too optimistic?

I can respect your optimism.

But all those years the Panthers managed to dig deep, and finish the season strong through December. We are crashing hard right now.

To make matters worse, it appears our head coach could potentially be losing the locker room. If so, it's all downhill from here.

For those that care about such things, we can make up the all time wins with ease, blindfolded, with both arms behind our backs, over the next 5-10 years with Fournette/Barnett/Peppers/et al.  Winning now is EXACTLY what our enimies want.  For the love of Pete, lose.

I have never really beleived in the whole lose out mentality for draft position... until this year. We gain nothing by winning anymore games

Spoiler and moral. If we can win our last game it's going to be a hell of a lot more of a booster.

With the whole Cam tie thing, This team will not be fighting to save Ron or Shula this year.

I always root for the W ..... But I wouldnt be surprised if this team is ready for some new blood, but I am afraid that Ron will not be fired this off season, just hope he has the balls to get rid of Shula.

    • You joke, but hasn't basically the whole team been in Charlotte this past week together? I'm not one to see the random dumb stuff players put out on social media in the offseason and think it means that's ALL they've been doing and not working on their game.  But it's a little strange that all this is coming out at the same time we're seeing tons of stuff with the team in Charlotte together, even if it's just working out and not even official team OTA's or anything. So he gets a pass from me saying anything now, but if he doesn't show clear improvement this season, it then opens him up to some retroactive criticism for some things.
    • Ha-ha, I bet that went through everyone's mind.  Admittedly I don't read all the comments in a thread before I make a post. Great minds think alike!
    • Cam was hitting his stride as a QB in 2017/2018.     This is why I think stats like completion percentage are overrated. As long as a QB is clutch and makes the throws to win the game the rest doesn’t really matter. What good is a check down stat padder if they’re a choker.  Until Norv Turner (and briefly Chud) got here we put Cam in high pressure throwing situations all the time. We also ran the ball on first down more than most teams in the NFL in the Ron era. Coupled with shitty WRs, all that is expressed in his stats. I also assume Cam took the ball in his hands on many occasions rather than trust Funchess to catch the ball.    It was also never Cams job to play the game like someone else. His presence on the field dictated the game in a way that is rarely seen.  He showed he could play the dink and dunk game just before TJ Watt. That didn’t suddenly make him better than his earlier seasons. He just got put in a legit under center  passing game again for first time since his rookie year with Chud.    Ron took the quickest path to success and abused the RPO because his ass was about to get fired.    Cam never got the credit for being the cerebral player that he was. I just think when you are legitimately a human Superman, sometimes the best play is having the ball in your hands. He was a better passer than Delhomme was.
