This guy is saying Ron Rivera warned Cam Newton Saturday night about not wearing a tie.

For the record, I call BS. The flight was Saturday, not Sunday. That is when Cam got in trouble.

Even if Cam was warned he was on the west coast and had packed for the trip.  As some former players have commented, Cam couldn't exactly stroll into a Belk and find a shirt in a normal store that fits his massive frame.

Front office could of fined him but realistically Cam wasn't home and was limited in adjustments.  Would be totally different if he was warned at and had the opportunity to adjust

So, what happened last week on the road in Oakland when Cam wore the orange hat and beige turtleneck without a tie?

Cam said he did not pack a tie for the trip and did not have a shirt for a tie offered to him by his teammates because they had already shipped back their clothes the previous day.

No punishment last week at Oakland, but now he gets punished in Seattle? This happens while they are on the road for a week and did not return home?

There is much more to it than just a dress code, or Cam would have been punished by the team last week in Oakland.

IMO the Oakland game they realized he broke dress code.  Likely told him to wear a tie from now (but his outfits for the entire trip were already packed).  So then they foolishly fined him.  IMO, it is a classic case of a bad boss flexing pointless muscle and fails to see the forest because of the trees.

I love Cam, glad he's our qb, but c'mon man, Rodgers is the better quarterback

Cam is a better football player than Rodgers.  Cam is a better football player than anyone who lines up at QB.

Rodgers is a better pure QB in the traditional sense by a fair margin.

So basically. Rogers is a better quarterback as was said~

Cam Newton is the best football player that lines up behind C in the NFL.

Rodgers is the a better traditional QB.  A fair number of players are as well.

It is one of those arguments...both can be right pending how your are choosing to view it IMO.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
