I actually liked his play calling the other night.  Really, nothing like he did here.  I don't think we'd become the Browns though.  He's not the reason they're a dud franchise.  That being said, I don't think I'd be too interested in him for HC.

As a head coach? Um, no.

I would be open to OC due to his familiarity though. People don't realize that when we do show Shula the door, there is going to be an inevitable adjustment period with a new OC, and after a season like this, fan patience is going to be very low. Limiting that adjustment period as much as possible should be priority.

But right now, playcalling changes won't make up for our WR's not getting open or flat out dropping passes. Need improvement all around.

I pied you for the realization that if we change OCs it could take a year or two for the offense to recover. I am not in favor of Chud. From what I remember he was not a big fan of Cam's and gave him little control over the offense.

    • Hurney 2.0 and Fitts were so bad I don't know if it was intentional or they were that abysmally clueless. Fittershits panicked repeatedly being on the back end of positional runs while Hurney couldn't evaluate anyone outside of the 1st.  I can't figure out why Plummer still has a jersey. There's no reason. Dalton brings nothing to the table. If another QB gets cut that has given a glimmer of anything better than what we have, we should look, and that goes for every position.  I cant get over how much different this team could have been with a competent GM and having accepted the Rams offer for Burns. This franchise could have gone in a totally different direction.
    • I thought tanking wasn't actually a thing and we were firmly against it though?
    • I think they are watching to see who’s going to be available before they make theirs official. Probably working trades too. I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t cut anyone today.
