How Would You Feel If Gettleman picks Marshon Lattimore with pick #8?

You say that now, but watch us take Thomas to play DE on 1st and 2nd down and move in to play DT on 3rd.

I like Thomas. Thomas will be a DE. If we take Allen, it'll be the intention to play DE too.

Now if we take Malik McDowell, yea that's a problem. But even McDowell is projected as a possible 43 DE.

Theres really no legitimate DT in this draft. That's probably this draft weakest position.

-rare guy who can play press man

-elite speed (and knows how to use it)

-good size, long

-Elite feet

-elite hips

-OS used him to blitz fairly often

-willing, good tackler

honestly I'd much rather do this than pick a 2nd wave player.

I don't buy the "pure" BPA philosophy that some around here think goes on, but in this case he could easily be too much value to pass up.

Just because we spent picks last year that doesn't mean our secondary is set for the next 5 years.

I'd love to see Bradberry and Lattimore on the outside with Worley manning the slot for years to come..sign Peppers sign Church we're good to go

I'm not sure Worley would be great in the slot.  I wonder could he transition to FS.

Also it doesn't hurt to have a quality 4th CB.  At any given time one of the top 3 could be hurt.

Cornerback is different than other positions as far as depth goes.  Its the one positon on the field that the other team can attack a particular player and there isn't as much you can do about it.  Its the reason people say you can never have too many corners.

The more and more I look at who picks in the top 7, the more and more I think only 1 if that many QB's get taken. There's a real possibility that Lattimore is there...do we not take him cuz we drafted 3 last year? I mean Sanchez looks like a scrub. I love Bradberry. Worley looks alright but nothing special. Having 2 great, young CBs would be awesome and very intriguing.

With that said, DG is a proud man. Can't see him doing this.
