From what I'm seeing in the moves that have been made .. Here are a few opinions on future transactions...

1. Gman has conceeded that Fournette, Thomas and the 2 safeties are not going to be on the board at 8.. So he might be trading back to 11 - 15 to get either Ross, Howard or Barnett and a extra pick in the 2nd or 3rd round.. The Browns pick at 12 could be the target .. The Browns move up to get one of the young QB's or use the 8th pick to get Grapapplo from the Pat's.. While still getting Garrett at 1. ..

2. I see a combo of Safety and DE in the 1st 3 picks and a 3rd round RB... He brought these older guys in to easy the transition of younger players in a year ir 2..

3. Only RB he likes in the 1st is Fournette.. After that the only RB's i see he might be into are 3rd and 4th round avilable players..

or I can see DG moving up to #5 to get either Fournette or Adams.

He isn't moving up when he has said to many times "this draft is deep" and "you're never 1 player away".. He isn't going to trade away a chance to get atleast 4 future starters for 1..

He can walk out of this draft with a stater at WR and future starters at DE, TE, S, and RB..

Some of you might want to get use to him not valuing RB's like you do...

Gman might be in the '"really not liking to spend a 1st round pick on a devalued position like RB" club.. He is all about value and he has that NY Giants philosphy .. They never draft 1st round RB's..

Far more likely we package that pick we just got from NE to move up than it is we move down.

Source: Gettleman has never moved down, but moved up every draft.

I disagree.. He is looking to get his future DE, Safety and Weapon on offense in this draft.. You don't trade picks to get less picks in a draft you think is deep..

The other times he traded up the drafts weren't as deep and he didn't have so many picks in the top 100 before.

Cam's game is entirely dependent on the RB being a threat so that they can't key on Cam as a runner OR a passer on every down. Stew is unreliable due to health and a struggling OL at times.

A talented RB that we can rely on for the next 5-8 years is just what we need and I think Gman knows that if he knows anything about the build of this team.

Trade back with Cleveland and get Barnett

Use the NE second rounder and Cleveland's second to move up and get Ross in the first

Use our second rounder to get Obi

Use the 3rd round comp pick to get the Iowa TE

Use the 4th rounder to get Perine

Use the 5th on a developmental LT like Davenport

Use the sixth and seventh for whatever.

Celebrate

Maybe we set up a package of picks to go to 1 and get Myles Garrett

Really??

1st i don't think we have a package good enough to convince Cleveland not to take Garrett..

2nd We aren't one player away..

    • I knew very little about this player before we drafted him. When I read scouting reports about him I understood the pick and thought it made sense as a late round receiver with speed and special teams ability but after watching him more closely and now adding his interviews into the equation I'm actually really excited about him. I know it's just RMC but I noticed him running his routes with this extra step that really stood out to me during the general video posted earlier without realizing who it was doing that.  His speed in his first cut is just on another level and it's visible. When I saw it I was **** whoa, who was that?! Then I saw Horn JR. and my first thought was oh it's him. I think it's very possible that he was under appreciated going into the draft due to his height and stats because he played at Colorado where the attention was on 2 other players but I think this dude's ceiling is way higher than most think it is. Especially after watching his interview. He looks hungry. I may have found my fav rook for this year's pre-season. I like pulling for underdogs anyway and as someone who played on the small side myself it just gives me more reason to cheer for him. The competition at WR looks like it's going to be fierce this season. I honestly can remember any preseason where I looked at out wr group and got past 3 players who I thought were interesting but this season I'm interested in at least 5 who have my attention going into the season.
    • Wilson should be getting called for at least 3 penalties a night even in the post season. How does he not lead the NHL in PM???
