How would you feel about this?

8 and both 2nds to move up and get Garrett? Not sure if that'd be enough to move up even but say Browns go retarded and Niners do as well and take a QB or even to trade up to 1 to get Garrett if Browns would do it.

Would really hinder offensive improvement outside of later picks, the WR fliers, and Kalil but Garrett would easily bring our defense back to the level of 2013 and probably even better.

I'm drooling just thinking of the possibility. Our DL would be absurdly stacked, LB best in the league and solid vet safeties, top nickel, and improving and promising young outside corners. That D could be one that allows like 9 points per game over the course of a season if healthy all year.

Just now, LinvilleGorge said:Wouldn't even be close to enough.

It'd be that plus next year's 1st.

Yeah wasn't sure what it would equal. What about 8 up to 3 if it falls that way? Anyone have one of those draft trade value charts?

I think the draft value chart said you can package 8th, 40th, and 64th pick to move up to the third pick in the draft

And remember that's only a guide.  The Bears would and should jump on that.

So, Browns go retarded and take Allen, 49ers a QB and we package that and maybe some extra to get Garrett at 3.

    • Michael McLeod is a Cane apparently..
    • He's going way overboard. I mean, men talk this way all the time. Bryce seems like a fine young man. But he's been piss poor at his job. I wish that I could be piss poor at mine---wait, no I don't---and get paid millions.  The thing is, I've supported Bryce in the past, but he doesn't seem to be the type of QB that what I've heard Chris Canty refer to as a "force multiplier." He can't make good players great, he needs great players to make him good. He's not going to pull out a win when times get tough (at least he hasn't), but he becomes good when there is essentially nothing to play for. After trying to give Bryce the benefit of the doubt, and waiting for the light switch to stay on, I'm tired of waiting. I've seen what I need to see, and it ain't pretty. So excuse me for calling Bryce, "pussified" for not being more aggressive in his pursuit of down field plays. He appears to just not have it in him. I'm sorry, Bryce and all Bryce Stans. He's still got to go though.
    • Yeah me too. We should have taken him. He was a much better bet than most of what you find that far down. He might have been 5 stars coming out of high school, I don’t know. Just that he was highly thought of. His college career didn’t get off to a great start and he ended up on a bad team with bad protection. But you could watch him and see what he had. I don’t see a way he doesn’t have a long career as a #2, at worst.
