What I like about this analysis is that it gives credit where due. These moves may turn to be a bust-nobody can know for sure one way or another. But the vets we signed have been producing in the recent past. They aren't flashy shadows of their former selves like Mario Wiliams.                                                                                                                                                                                                                              DG is making additions in areas of weakness and regardless of whether they work out they are positive attempts to improve.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Its easy to back a former winner but much harder to stick up for a less fashionable team.                                                                                                                                                                                                                I hope all the negative criticism from most of the media lights a fire under the panthers backsides and they prove everyone wrong.

Yeah I'm happy that Dave did his best to improve this team in FA. Who knows if this will work out, but all you can do is make what seems to be the best moves and hope for the best. On paper we're better than we were before the FA additions. That's a win. Unlike last offseason when we got worse over FA and paid the price of a wasted season with meaningless games.

      well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying

      All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.

      I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
