First of many bad contracts that need work.

Looking at you Stewart, Dickson, Oher, and Gano.  You want to be on this team next year, you make your salary match your production.

Restructure doesn't mean pay cut.  It means salary becomes bonus and gets prorated over the length of contract.

Dickson and Oher could easily be released after draft. We need depth at OT, but Oher is in bad shape until I see otherwise and a decent June 1 cap savings if he isn't going to start. Gano as well. I think Stewart gets restructured. We need to resign Norwell, Turner and Star. Make it happen.

To reiterate, GaNO must GO.

These guys just saw Gettleman hand out horrible contracts to Captain Munnerlyn and Russell Shepard. I hate Dickson and Gano as much as the next guy but I wouldn't be willing to take a pay cut after seeing what happened this offseason.

I think Dickson's fate will be determined once the draft happens. Gano seems safe after DG passed on a guy like Hauschka in FA.

    • When we have everyone playing like they should, we can win the Cup. That has been the biggest problem when we get to the playoffs, but this year seems to be fixed mostly. We could have had multiple if we had done this in the past.
    • Here we go Bryce Stan’s you should love this. Hell it may be one of you.  It has every cliche excuse and then some.  Unintentionally hilarious my limit was reached when he said Bryce had it hard because four play callers.
    • Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.
