No they shined under a rookie qb who they didn't ask to do much and still left big plays in the field. He played an Alex Smith like role last year. Notice how Tony came in and immediately marched right down the field. It was the best team he's had and he didn't get a chance because of politics, clearly the better qb.

Dak was the Pro bowl starter. He didn't turn the ball over constantly like Romo. That's why they had the best record in years. The defense was terrible, so long drives being careful with the ball was the reason for their success. Romo has no major wins, no super bowls, etc in over 10 years as a starter. He is not a better qb. Glad you aren't the Panthers draft expert because you base his game on one drive. SMH

What cracks me up here is CBS doesn't realize how many people think Tony Romo is a douche.

If they want CBS to mean the Cowboy Broadcast System, good luck.

This is going to suck hard, fortunately there is a volume button on my TV.

What a backwards hat wearing asshole.

You're really stretching to hate on one of the good guys the league had... Jerry Jones didn't deserve such a model NFL athlete and team ambassador in Romo and Witten

This does not surprise me in the least.

Have a picture in a Romo jersey you can share with us haters?

I don't think he played a full game since the Panthers injured him. But if I am wrong you can be sure someone will swoop in with their retainer lisp to remind us of how right they are.

    • Through 2 games cltfc has 12 shot attempts. Opponents 23 shots on target. Attack sucks, Defense definitely sucks. Kahlina is the only reason they haven't given up 14 goals in two games.
    • I met a few times--never liked him. I figured he might have had a bad day--but then realized that he must have a lot of bad days. Once he raised his voice at my son because my son did not understand a question when SS was signing his jersey.  I wanted the jersey to represent his encounter with a Panther great, not some small man with a bad attitude.  I told me son, "Forget it.  He was asking you what your name is (My son was about 7 and told me that he thought Smitty was going to write (my son's) name on the jersey.  He said "Dad, I thought he was supposed to write HIS name on the jersey, not mine."  I said, "He was personalizing it, writing it to you--like a birthday card."  He is now grown, and he has a steve smith Jersey that is framed and matted.  He keeps it is his closet.  I asked him, "Why not have that out on your wall?"  He said, "All I remember is an A-hole scribbled on my shirt.  I don't remember a legend or hero.  But he had a Jake Delhomme Jersey on his wall.  "Jake was great.  I will always remember that."  (Jake stayed and talked to us for about 5 minutes or more--GREAT guy.)
    • Is it possible for someone to regress in maturity as they age or has Steve really just been a jerk his entire life?
