If Allen is there, he's the pick.  That goes even if Fournette is still available, you watch.

You understand that JA is pretty much the same size as Julius Peppers right?  And that some scouts see his fit in the NFL on the outside and not interior?

He's 300+ pounds isn't he? 

Thomas is a a better prospect. Line him up anywhere.

Pretty sure they've got McCaffrey over Howard.

Like I said, JA is JP's size (around 287 lbs).

Which is 10 lbs heavier than Thomas.

Thomas is an excellent choice as well. But if there is a prospect more physically capable of sliding in and out on the DL, its Allen more than Thomas.

Allen is our CJ replacement. I'm cool with it

Allen is a DT. No burst on the outside according to many experts. If he is the pick we are already calling the Butler pick into question. You can only play so many DTs it cannot be said enough. Plenty of players just as good as he is at positions of need.

Read somewhere the Panthers are going in with the expectation that Allen isn't dropping.

That could mean something.
