he's the most important player on Defense for us, but man that's high. he's deserving but it just costs a lot to keep great players. I've gotta think Star is gone after this year.

Now the concern is do we retain Star.  Also, how can we retain Trai and Norwell now... You will see atleast 1 guard drafted this draft.  I expect about 2-3 Offensive lineman drafted too overall.

No he is 3 Tech and gets abused in the run game. This just means that Butler will see more time at DE aka no DE in the 1st two rounds.

the marginal differences between techniques doesnt supersede the teams inability to pay big money to two with a first round rookie. 

you just can't invest that much capitol on three players that can't be on the field at the same time.

I'm not one that's ever campaigned for a 3-4 defense or even cared all that much, but it's been a topic of conversation around here recently. Then we trade away Ealy, sign Pep who has been playing in a 3-4 and now we make a big extension with KK which surprises us all. Any chance he could be lining up on the outside of a 3-4 with Star in the middle and Johnson on the other side? I honestly don't know. Just curious.
