None of the teams ahead of the Panthers had RB as their biggest need and now their all wanting Fournette. We show interest in McCaffrey and now he's a top ten instead of a bottom twenty.

One smoke screen gives just enough to make guys think and over think.  You put out too much BS, people easily figure out you're BSing and your smoke screens lose all of their deceptive value.

FWIW I just did the NFL Predict the Pick thing and I ended up having McCaffrey going to Washington at #17.

If all the smoke clears and everyone stays in the same spot they are in (no trades) I could see us getting Fournette and McCaffrey falling to mid-late first.

I believe Solomon or Hooker will be there when we pick.  OJ Howard, and McCafferey will also be on the board, but we'd be silly not to take Solomon or Hooker.

Lie all you want, it only makes any statements of truth more like a lie.  Instead, you have to look at what benefits the liar the most: in this case, SF wants to trade down and get more picks.  Deep draft, lots of talent, more picks = brighter future.

What better way to drum up interest than to spread the rumors that you're going to draft or deal all the marquee players?  That works in a 4th grade trading card swap, but I could care less.  It just means what you have to offer is less desirable than me staying pat if you're that desperate to get out of it.
