I don't understand. The bills want to shake up the front office immediately after the draft?

That GM already wasn't on great terms with ownership and I'm sure McD is trying to leverage the situation to get "his" people in the building. It's a snake in the grass approach, but it's likely the smart approach.

But why not do it before the draft? I highly doubt McD had the ability to just draft anyone he wanted, and if him and the GM weren't on good terms, why not do it before hand?

Conspiracy theory: Beane leaked our targets to the Bills

It sounds juicy and the Bills trading to jump in front of us multiple times certainly lends it credibility, but I just can't imagine that it actually happened. I have to imagine that's the kind of thing that would get you blackballed around the league if word got out about it. No one wants that type of guy in their building or wants to work with that type of guy.

    • I’m old enough to remember when I wanted to draft Njoku We brought back Mitchell and officially kept Tremble. Mitchell Evans isn’t going anywhere. Sanders who knows, he was awful last year I fully agree we need a better TE. This room is awful Njoku would be a massive help in the red zone. However it really seems like Dan and the FO prefer to go young on offense
    • You’re underselling Loveland imo. He’s so damn good. You can line him out wide and count on him to win 1 v 1. I don’t see that from Sadiq. Loveland is going to go over 1000 yards next season I’m not overly asking for a WR3. It’s just one of the few directions Morgan could go in round 1.  Let’s say Thieneman, Fano and Cooper are all on the board it’s a tough decision. I just don’t see how this team would take Sadiq over some of those guys given the way they run their offense. Our tight end room is easily bottom of the league so I can definitely see why someone would want a tight end though. At one point during the season I was on the Sadiq train as well. I just don’t think value wise for us specifically it makes sense given our team as a whole As far as tight ends go in this draft I really like Max Klare. Very smooth mover
    • Some of you need some serious help with the way 9 lives rent free in your heads I know for a fact, Dan loves Bryce. Bryce is his guy. This offense is very young and they’re asking Bryce to do a lot. With Idzik taking over playcalling duties it’s a move that is another step in the process of Bryce taking control of the offense. 24 years old. This youth movement on offense and putting more on 9’s shoulders is going to pay off in the long run
