OTAs tomorrow...

My wishlist in order of preference:

  • Obviously if Samuel is there, keep an eye on him and how often he embarrasses defensive backs.
  • Dean Marlowe, and whether the hype surrounding him is real. Heard a while back some thought he could've been the starter last year had he not been hurt. Curious as to whether he looks stout.
  • How do Bradberry and Worley look out there in comparison to what you saw last year at OTAs?
  • Keep tabs on Shepard and Benjamin
  • Whether Funchess is showing the dominance he did last year in practice or if he just looks meh.
  • Any depth corners or so showing up.

Definitely the safeties.  Especially Marlowe.  I'm just interested in learning more about his skills and abilities.  Was rooting for him before the injury last year.  He seems like a flex type so as things stand, is pretty much our backup at SS and FS.

Blechen would be the other one.  He's being directed towards S over LB which could be interesting.  He was really good at Utah.

Can someone remind me again why CMC isn't here, is it due to his commitment at Stanford?

Due to completely bogus NCAA regulations and stuff, athletes cannot train or be with their team (with the exception of rookie minicamp) until after their school graduates, even if said athlete is currently not enrolled.

CMC comes from Stanford, so their graduation is in the middle of June. Even though CMC isn't enrolled, he has to abide by these stupid rules.

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
    • Proper stud that would look even better if they could upgrade Scott. And get a resemblance of pressure on the QB
    • List is all over the place. Trash list
