Someone built a real Awesom-O 4000 and is using it in Hollywood to pitch ideas.

My Proof: Adam Sandler is still making movies (to be fair, I did enjoy the Cobbler)

yeah, I enjoyed The Cobbler also.

But this ChiPs movie, WTF????  This was pure poo! how does it it get 51% on Rotten Tomatoes?? has to be illegal money somewhere.

Millions and millions of books out there, with more being written each day, and yet Hollywood relies on reboots, remakes and re-imaginings of old TV shows. It's because Hollywood is illiterate. The fact that they can't read a script well enough to tell it is crap just further proves the point.

Did you actually go see it / rent it? I knew from the trailer that it was trash. It actually has 51% of RT? I weep for the movie consumer.

While I agree, I don't know if this is really a new phenomenon.

I mean, some years back a group of movie executives put their heads together and collectively decided it would be a great idea to spend millions of dollars making movies built around Pauly Shore.

I rarely think about a bad movie once its over. But this one really has me up at nights.  (i work 3rd...)

the biggest head scratch was Jane Kaczmarek"s 'nude scene' She was in the movie 2 seconds at the front, then you see a body double do a topples scene at the end. Was anybody clamoring to see her topless to begin with?

A few years ago Jim Carrey wanted to do a Six Million Dollar Man movie, of course without the adjustment for inflation...But so many of these TV reboots have gone the comedic way, except for CHiPs, that the Six Billion Dollar Man would be the way to go now. Of the few shows for the 70s, I think it could be done, with the right people and no money laundering.

    • I dont think people realize how hard it is to find a consistent starting QB in the NFL. Byrce will not heart us to a SB but I do think he can manage to get us one or close..go all in on defense and change the Offensive passing game and play calls. I really think our biggest problem is our HC.  Take New Orleans QB for example, switch him and Bryce and I promise you it'll look similar or worse. New Orleans OC is levels ahead of Canales. And as far as the draft goes, in this division with as much rb talent as we face ..the answer...this guy:    Pick up a couple edge rushers in FA along with a corner and plug this guy in Rozeboom's spot. Defense solved. But only if we get a top tier rusher on that dline....jus saying
    • I think I'm going to the game in Los Angeles vs Paraguay, and the England / Croatia game here in Dallas since my mom is British.  For decent seats anywhere in the building(s) it looks like it will be upwards of $7k for the two games.  Insane. Just for perspective, you could buy field level EPL tickets for any one of the top sides in the league, and it would be 10% of the price you'll pay for crappy seats at the World Cup.
    • Meh… I knew this thread would turn into a Bryce/Tua comparison, when they couldn’t be further apart situations.   Dolphins catered there whole offense toward Tua, they brought in a coach that would run a Tua friendly offense, the went in got the best most explosive WR in the NFL and paired him the fastest WR in that years draft. Panthers have done the opposite, they went and got a Pete Carroll disciple who likes to run the ball under center, they drafted big slow WR who got little separation in college. Literally the polar opposite of Bryce’s scouting report coming out of Alabama.   Tua was a decent QB 2 years ago, but the concussions, lack of movement have caught up to him. He never had a great arm to begin with but now since he doesn’t want to get hit he’s taking the whole offense down with him.
