Marty Hurney comments on team depth today on WFNZ

Quite a long radio segment (18 minutes) with Marty on WFNZ this afternoon.

I was most interested in his comments about team depth.  The discussion of team depth starts around 8:20 and lasts about a minute.

Marty had mentioned something about his liking the depth on our Offensive line, and then was asked areas where he'd be concerned about depth or had "questions".  He mentions:

1)  Safety

2) Defensive line somewhat

3) Wide Receiver

4) Third Tight End

Thoughts?

Very surprised Marty didn't mention any concern re: Corner depth.  With Munnerlyn & Elder injuries and Sanchez currently dropping to the bottom of the roster and playing badly... Corner is much more of a concern for me than Safety.

He seems very comfortable with the O-line (as did Gettleman). I hope that he sees the need for another LT, especially considering Kalil is already banged up a few days in and his replacement has a history of injury as well.

As for the rest of the positions, I'm all for it. He sounds primed to at least make attempts at doing some things when team cuts start happening. That's a good thing in my book.

Well he did say something to the effect regarding the fluidity of the situation and ever changing conditions, so corner could very well be on his radar.
