I've had my complaints about the primacy of marketing within the Panthers organization, but from my limited experience with Dan he was both a solid guy and very, very good at what he did. 

Dan, if you're reading: "That's them bananas!" Good luck with the new gig, and don't sweat the small stuff.

His tweets were always amazing whether they were hilarious, shady, or thoughtful. Hope wherever he goes they will appreciate his talent as much as the panthers fan base and the sports world has!
