McCaffery PPR value

Im in a 10 team PPR league. Im tempted to target him in the 2nd round. Do you think that would be too early? I dont think he makes it past the 3rd in our league.

In ppr i draft stud high volume recievers until every pass catching position is full, then i target RBs. If hes there, take him. If not, still plenty of ppr backs available.

I got him at the tail end of the third in my 12-team PPR league. That even felt a bit high since he's an unknown but it seemed reasonable since I already had two RBs, but second seems pretty early. What's your lineup/do you have a flex option?

Yes, we do have one flex spot for wr,rb or te.

I usually follow your formula. Got Julio and Evans in the first 2 rounds last season. I may hold off and hope CMC is there in the 3rd.

If you aren't playing with a bunch of Panther fans....2nd round seems crazy high for McCaffrey. 

If you are playing in a homer league than all bets are of on where any Panther goes.   If you aren't playing for money I endorse it.  If you are playing for money IMO there are much better fantasy picks in the 2nd round.  McCaffrey has potential to be a much better real life player this year than fantasy IMO.

we do have several homers that will go after him. I will take him in the 3rd if he is there. Thanks for the advice.

Had my draft tonight, 12 man league, took him in the 3rd round (I'm 9th pick/12) as my RB1 hoping he can do some damage in PPR league.

Yeah as McCaffrey has adjusted it seems to the NFL pretty well. Even if it is preseason.

Just drafted CMC in my nfl.com league.  Looked at the 1st week match up.  Projected were only 4.17 points against the 9ers.   lol.

I'm the only panther fan in my 12 team ppr league and we drafted today. He went in the second round of our auction draft for $83 with teams having a $250 budget. I had to let it pass, that's just nonsense.
