Cam Newton predictions for tonight...

I expect him to look a little rusty and have some timing issues to work through... as long as he comes out of this healthy and makes a few good throws I'll be happy. We know what Cam can do when he's healthy, so he doesn't have to prove anything to me tonight, the purpose of this game is a tune-up for when the real games start.

Would be fun if he could throw 2 TD passes - 1st to CMC or just possibly Samuel / 2nd to KB or Greg.  But that's perhaps over-optimistic at this point.  I'll settle for 1, especially if we can get the run game going strong.

If the offense rocks on the first 2 series, I expect Cam to be done for the night.

If the offense starts slow, he could play another 1 or 2 series.

Mostly I just want to see the offense move the chains and look like their timing is coming together.  Last week was painful in the early part of the game.

RR's commentary on Cam regardless of how things go:  "He did a lot of nice things out there, he really did."  "He got some great opportunities and he's coming along nicely."  "I'm going to listen to what RV says."  "It's all about competing on every play."

LOL LOL!  Wish I could give you more than one slice of pie.

You totally nailed Ron-speak...  He's getting way way way too monotonous and repetitive in his post-practice / post-game commentary.  But then again, given he has to speak to the media gazillion times each week this part of the year, it's a bit hard to blame him for repeating himself.

A couple of beautiful long throws for TD's, followed by angry rants that he didn't throw short to CMC or Samuel and isn't using the 'evolved offense'. OR, the flip side- only throws short and has lost the ability to complete the long passes.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
