They're good at turnovers, which negates how many total yards they often give away. Against the rush they've been bad.

Sorry - manipulate stats as you do but you won't get me believing KC has a bad defense compared to the rest of the NFL. Turnovers win games. Panthers never recovered a fumble last year, how'd that turn out?

Enjoy the game....

Check the stats yourself, and ask Chiefs fans. Run D was one of the worst, which is something I know I highlighted way back then when we played them.

Of course, they got turnovers, hence why they were good. But that's not realistically sustainable year after year.

I'll leave the stat checking and asking Chiefs fans to you. I have other things to do. All I know is the Chiefs are not the bad defense you claim them to be.

They aren't bad. But they aren't one of the top tier either.

They're probably above average if I had to put them somewhere.

    • There probably isn’t an orthopedic surgery that has had more improvement in technique and outcomes over the last two decades than the acl repair. Because of its importance in pro sports and the sheer number that surgeons do there have been lots of opportunities to practice 1. Better techniques - arthroscopic v open surgery means people heal faster  2. More training - all sports med surgeons have tons of experience doing them 3. better imaging - later generations of mri are more sensitive  4. better therapy - PTs have gotten better at rehabbing them and the theories of rehab have improved a lot. No idea about brooks in particular tho, but I’d describe that overall situation as “not great”
    • If Freeling or either of the Utah OTs dropped to 19 I'd be more than happy honestly. Our OT situation isn't great with an aging Moton at RT and a mess of a situation at LT if Walker goes down at any point in time.  What I'm expecting the Panthers to do is probably draft another weapon like Sadiq or KC Conception. That's been their track record in drafting R1 thus far. None of the defensive talent projected to be around 19 stands out to me. Unless they just want to draft a LB early (Rodriguez,  CJ Allen, Anthony Hill, Jake Gollday).
